Meet
Dr. Meredith Parker
As a Bay Area native, I have also lived and worked in Boston and San Diego, gaining a broad perspective on the diverse experiences that shape us. I earned my Doctorate in Psychology from The California School of Professional Psychology and am licensed by the California Board of Psychology. With over a decade of experience in college mental health—primarily at Stanford University—and previous work at El Camino Hospital in Silicon Valley, I have supported clients from a wide range of backgrounds facing various challenges. My diverse experience enables me to help individuals navigate everything from everyday stress to more complex mental health concerns with care and expertise.
Evidence-Based Practices
I adhere to national standards and utilize evidence-based practices in my therapy services. I stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques to ensure that you receive the most effective and comprehensive treatment available. Your well-being is my top priority.
Stanford Students
As a former Stanford CAPS therapist, I specialize in working with Stanford students and understand firsthand the unique pressures of life on campus. I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, with a particular interest in the developmental transitions, academic demands, and personal challenges that arise during this stage of life. My familiarity with Stanford’s culture and community allows me to provide therapy that is both context-aware and deeply attuned to students’ lived experiences.
Safe and Confidential
I understand the importance of confidentiality in therapy. My practice provides a safe and confidential environment where you can openly discuss your concerns without judgment. Rest assured that your privacy is protected and your information is kept strictly confidential.
